About Our Office
We strive to provide exceptional dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Our policies are designed to make sure everyone receives the best possible care and experience.
Monday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
We see our first patients of the day starting at 8:00 a.m., and our last scheduled appointments are at 4 p.m. Our office is closed from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. for lunch.
The parent or legal guardian bringing the child to our office for their first visit will be responsible for the account. A parent or legal guardian must be present for the first visit and must be available to consent to treatment at any future visits.
We do our very best to stay on schedule at our office. Realizing that every child is unique and providing the best care for each individual is our top priority. We will always see our patients who have an emergency. We ask your help to keep our schedule running on time.
If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations or missed appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a cancellation fee per child/appointment scheduled.
Often families will schedule multiple siblings for appointments and breaking these appointments is costly to our office and unfair to other patients waiting for appointments. If the appointment is missed due to sudden illness, we may ask to see a doctor’s note and will waive the fee upon receipt.
The fee amount is based upon the type of appointment you missed:
A $25 fee per child scheduled will be charged for all missed recall appointments.
A $50 fee per child scheduled will be charged for all missed basic restorative appointments.
Missed sedation and anesthesia appointments will result in the forfeiture of your deposit (see specific details regarding this policy on your sedation and anesthesia paperwork).
Your appointment is scheduled to allow for enough time to provide the best service for your child. Patients who arrive for their appointments 15 minutes late or more may have to be rescheduled so that other patients are not impacted and required to wait. If your tardiness requires you to be rescheduled, you may be charged a fee based upon the parameters detailed above.
Afternoon appointments are in high demand for school-aged children. Therefore, repeated last minute cancellations, broken appointments or late arrivals for afternoon appointments may result in us needing to schedule your child during school hours.
As a courtesy to our patients, we are happy to file insurance claims for services rendered. We require a copy of your Dental insurance card at every visit. If you are unable to supply us with the current information we will collect payment at the time of service and reimburse you once proper documentation is provided. All portions of the bill that the insurance is not expected to cover are due at the time of service. Prior to any appointments other than check-ups, we will preauthorize any services with your insurance company so you know your out-of-pocket expense for services.
